I’m proudly South African. My heart beats for picturesque South Africa. African sunsets. Safaris. A beautiful and resilient nation.
I lived in Singapore for 4 years. Loved the last-minute weekend trips to a Thailand beach. Pool-side frozen margaritas (now I’m alcohol-free) brought to me by a waiter on roller-blades. Spa days.
Now my home is Germany. I fell in love with Germany on my first evening at a Christmas market. Cold, crisp air. Cozy in a warm jacket and boots. Roasted nuts. Christmas trees and decorations everywhere.
My great escape is photography.
Hardest thing I ever did?
Quit smoking.
I’m trilingual. I speak Afrikaans, English and German.
